Why Access?

Microsoft Access is a great platform for wide range of desktop and client-server database applications. Access has a lot of built-in features for users, developer can build a form to enter data in a table in a few clicks, and then fine-tune it with VBA, ActiveX controls, etc. Microsoft Access has great Microsoft® Office integration, we can do import/export to any Microsoft Office application and document. Access has one of the best report engines. Access application is scalable – you can start with simple database with native tables for 5 network users, later move data to Microsoft® SQL Server when necessary, and this does not require redesigning whole application.

Why Point Limited?

We started with Access from version 1.0 and have a rich experience in building wide range of applications on Access. We built our own framework – a set of procedures, customized forms, ActiveX controls, tools which help us to build applications fast and with a good quality, and help our customers to save money. We don’t need detailed specification in order to start development - we learn what customer wants, what is business process, make a prototype to show how we understand the idea, customer gives comments on it, we build next version, etc. And at the end, together with customer, we build exactly what he needs.
